Emmalee + Jessie I Lake House Wedding
When we first met with E+J, we knew immediately that they were going to have a beautiful wedding. E wasn’t afraid of getting into the design details and J was ready to make sure there was a good dance party (and those two things always make a great time in our books!).
When we first started chatting design with E+J, we loved how modern they wanted the design to be. As the Lake House has such deep wooden elements, E + J wanted to bright the space and add contrast . We incorporated marble through chargers, focused on modern, typographical signage and brought in gold and geometrics through florals (including some hanging arrangements over the bar!).
The wedding day itself was beautiful. Although a bit rainy early on, E+J didn’t let it stop them and they celebrated with family from near and far. The speeches were so thoughtful and beautiful (as were the vows!) and guests dined on amazing wine, food + company.
The 'We'll-Remember-This-Always' Moment
We absolutely loved E+J’s music choices. Not only did they have Local DJ for the reception (which is always sure to create an epic dance party), but they had a harpist play them down the aisle. It was absolutely stunning and made for the perfect bridal moment as Emmalee entered for the ceremony.
The Wrap Up
We couldn’t have been more thankful to be part of E+J’s day! They were absolutely lovely (as were their families) and we loved getting to know them through the wedding planning process.
