Paulina + Jeff | Lake House Wedding
We’ve said it a million times, but our favorite moments are when couples bring their own interests, likes and traditions into their wedding. It make the wedding uniquely them and so special, and Paulina + Jeff did just that. They incorporated wedding traditions from Paulina’s Polish heritage, got married blocks from their house (which allowed them to show out of town guests their everyday life) and included sweet touches from their joint business throughout the day.
P+J brought light to the beautiful, deep wood of the Lake House by adding light table runners and neutral, cream florals. An abundance of romantic pillar + votive candles also adorned the tables + mantle, making the room feel intimate + welcoming.
After a beautiful wedding ceremony, guest were treated to a traditional polish bread ceremony. The bread, which was baked by P’s family, was then given to all guests as a special welcome during the dinner. The speeches were wonderful, the dance party was large and fun (and included the waltz which P+J did for their first dance!) and merriment was plentiful.
The 'We'll-Remember-This-Always' Moment
P+J own Baker’s Bees and treated all of their guests to honey favours from their own bee hives. Along with the favours, P+J customized their own signature cocktails for guests to enjoy, and each cocktail featured honey from their own hives. It was such a beautiful touch and wonderful way to share their passion with their friends and families!
The Wrap Up
We had such a lovely time working with P+J, learning some of the Polish wedding traditions and getting to know them and their families. We were so thrilled to be a part of their day!
